Pa-Ray's Construction LLC

     Pa-Ray's Construction first opened its doors in 1986 when i was 10 years old. Growing up as a son of a fireman and contractor, I always enjoyed being outside and exploring new things. I can still remember going to fire calls with my dad on late nights. Some of my best weekends were spend with my dad in the garage while he was building things needed for his construction company. I would always grab the piece of wood he needed and nail it to something else. Working with wood has always been a passion of mine. One summer, my parents installed a big addition on our house and years later, someone showed me a photo of that day when concrete was being poured and i was right in the middle of it with my dad's fire boots on.

     I began working for Pa- Ray's Construction after graduation and have never looked back. My fathers moto was "take pride in your work, complete each project right the first time. That way you'll never have to redo it" That is how he learned and that is the same way we operate today.  In 2006, shortly after Hurricane Katrina, my father had made a choice to step down as owner of the business and well, that's where the second generation starts.

     Today, I'm glad to say that my father still shows up to work on occasions, sometimes before everyone else. He just can't put his hammer down. Or maybe it's just to nail something to that piece of wood I was looking for. Just like i did to him.
